MLK celebration

BEAUMONT - by JUSTIN HINTON - Saint Anthony Cathedral Basilica welcomed Catholics from across Southeast Texas to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The special service featured scripture reading and songs in different languages.
Bishop Curtis Guillory spoke on Dr. King's legacy.
He focused on going beyond tolerance saying we must accept one another as Dr. King often preached.
Guests were treated to a reception following the mass.
The Alabama Coushatta tribal dancers demonstrated several dances.
