Lumberton man sentenced for child pornography

BEAUMONT - From U.S. Attorney's Office - A 50-year-old Lumberton, Texas man has been sentenced to federal prison for child pornography violations in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.

Timothy Arthur Steinbarth guilty on May 16, 2012, to possession of child pornography and was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison on Dec. 10, 2012 by U.S. District Judge Thad Heartfield.

According to information presented in court, on Jan 21, 2011, federal and local agents executed a search warrant at Steinbarth’s residence in Lumberton, Texas. Several computers and digital storage media were found in the home and seized.
