(Earlier from BPD) - On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at about 12:15 pm, a 23-year-old man reported that he was cleaning his car at the apartments located at Steelton @ Primrose when a 16-year-old male approached him and shot him once with a handgun.  The victim suffered one gunshot wound to the stomach.  He then got into his car and fled.   The actor fired several more shots at the victim’s vehicle striking it at least once.  The victim drove to a house in the 3700 block of Steelton where the residents called for police and EMS.

Beaumont EMS transported the victim to St. Elizabeth ER where doctors listed him in stable condition as they prepped him for surgery.

Detectives spoke with several witnesses who stated that they victim and actor were involved in an argument yesterday.  This shooting appears to be a continuation of that altercation.

Detectives are continuing to gather information at this early stage of the investigation.  They have identified the 16-year-old actor and are in the process of obtaining a warrant for his arrest in this aggravated assault.
